Eco-lodge units vital for local cuisine promotion

TEHRAN- Eco-lodge units of Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari province can play an important role in introducing the local cuisine. 

Introduction of local cuisine can help attract more tourists and boost the province’s tourism sector, IRNA wrote.

Hadi Qasemi-Nafchi, deputy head of Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department, said that consultations have been conducted with owners and those involved in these ecotourism resorts to put these meals on their menus.

He said that culinary tourism  has not been shaped well  across the province and needs more attention.

Introduction of local cuisine of the province needs the help of people, local societies and administrative bodies, he added.

Qasemi-Nafchi emphasized that using the potential of mass media, social media, and producing contents for local cuisine of Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari province are on the agenda.
